La Tania is a small resort which suits those looking for a little rest and relaxation after a hard day on the slopes. It is an attractive budget base allowing easy access to the slopes of Meribel and Courchevel. The centre of the village is entirely pedestrian, and the resort is extremely family-oriented with a kids club and babysitting service available. Additionally, La Tania?s nursery slopes extend right into the village, meaning that inexperienced and nervous skiers are well catered for. There is a great choice of restaurants, as well as a swimming pool and spa. La Tania is situated in the heart of Les Trois Vallees, which has been the largest ski area in the world since 1973, with more than 410 miles of ski slopes and 183 ski lifts capable of transporting 260,000 skiers every hour. It is situated in the Savoie departement of France, above the town of Moutiers, and is actually made up of not three, but four valleys ? Saint-Bon, Allues, Belleville, and Maurienne.
