We have decided to sell our three bed single storey cottage and 2 bed gite due to our old age.

We have been running it as a B&B / gite for walkers of the GR65 Camino de Santiago.

The cottage is located located in a small hamlet in the Lot department, very close to the border with Aveyron department.

Close to the lovely Quercy villages of Limogne en Quercy (15mins) and Cajarc (15mins). Carjac which is a village situated on the Lot river is renowned as the village of Francoise Sagan the famous French playwright, as well as Coluche the comedian, and Georges Pompidou the politician.

Situated in the southern part of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park the property surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Nearby are many typical Quercy villages including some that are classified as "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France" such as the famous Saint Cirq La Popie (30mins) .

The property is also located in the "Triangle Noir de la France", an area renowned for low light pollution & starlit skies that are popular with star gazers.

Nearby are many prehistoric Dolmens (prehistoric stones) and Quercy dry stone huts (Gariottes & Caselles). Nearby is the Les phosphatières du Cloup d'Aural a former phosphate mines with accessible caverns (20mins), Peche Merle caves (40mins).

There are many historic towns and villages nearby; notably Cahors (40mins), Villefranche de Rouergue (20mins), Figeac (40mins), Saint Cirq Lapopie (30mins) and the many villages of the beautiful Lot Valley.

The nearest Cahors vineyards are only 30 minutes drive to the west.

There is good road access to the property with the D911 road nearby which links Cahors & Villefranche de Rouergue.
