Nestled along the Colmont river, this market town with all amenities is home to roughly 2,500 inhabitants.
Every Wednesday morning, its lively market fills Rue Magenta with local produce such as cheese, honey, meats, and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Architecturally, the town features its 19th‑century Saint‑Martin church and a historic menhir “La Roche”, dating from the Neolithic period.
Gorron has a rich sporting and cultural life, including a swimming pool (open air in the summer), petanque areas, tennis courts, sports halls, cinema, guided heritage walks and kayaking nearby. It is both historic and vibrant, and blends countryside tranquillity with a town community.

Access
The property is easily accessible from the UK by both road and ferry. With just a 5-6 hour drive from Calais, it is reachable in a day from most of the South of England, without an overnight stop.
