Tinchebray is town with an active year-round local community, a vibrant weekly market and a good range of local shops, cafés, restaurants and schools.  Nearby market towns such as Flers and Vire provide additional services and shopping, as well as the railway station in Vire providing excellent access to Paris and the coast.  Granville beach & Mont Saint Michel are just over an hour away and the ferry ports at Caen, Cherbourg and Saint Malo are all within easy reach.
