The recently renovated covered market, elected as the most beautiful one in France in 2025, is perfect for daily groceries or have a bite at one of the many restaurants. Also the Nine Locks of Fonseranes merit a visit. 'Les Neuf Écluses de Fonseranes', as they are called in French, are an ingenious water staircase made up of nine locks. This architectural highlight is part of the Canal du Midi, the 240 kilometres long waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea with Toulouse.
